Q01. We have a few unclear matters that we would appreciate if you would clarify;
The specification with capacity makes it impossible for us to grant a diesel generator. Would it be acceptable to offer a Gasoline or Petrol generator meeting the other requested details?
Silence – do you have any request as if the products needs with low noise or soundless?
The specification states that the generator should be 1 KvA diesel fueled, however, if diesel generators of 1Kva are not available, tenderers should submit the most lightweight generator near that capacity (eg.. 2 KvA). In addition, we encourage tenderers to also submit a variant petrol fueled 1 KvA generator (per section 20.5 of the tender instructions). Tender selection will be based first on the diesel submission (minimum 1 KvA) and then consider petrol variants from the winning tender if it has been included in their tender.
Silencers for the generators are not required but can also be indicated as a variant that the contracting authority can accept or decline from the tenderer awarded the contract.
